A fight with Jumpin Jacob, Mary Mare,
Sophisticated Sophie and Pierre,
The world was young enough to tolerate
The waiting at Saint Peter’s Gate before
The book investigating history
Contrived to write a festive melody
Concerning Jumpin Jacob and his Bee
Who danced with Mary Mare and Reverie
Atop the chicken barn where Jesus lived
Surprising those who sinned and said, “I am
A Russian Cowboy and I rule the land!”
Suffice to say, in
Is worthy of the Bible’s First in Class.
