I would love it! I'm in a good psychological place right now and I think I would do a good interview. In the past at times, my General Social Anxiety Disorder makes me nervous to speak on the phone or even to speak at all. Now would be an excellent time.
Actually, I was going to contact the station manager about a possible interview for an idea I had. I think night time is a good time for insomniac listeners to have a place to phone in for psyhological advice, like they showed on Fraser, with Kelsy Grammar. I fielded a lot of such questions when I was in practice in Welland from 1992 through 2002, when I retired. My training is as an MD. At one time I was a Professor of Medicine at University of Chicago, teahing and doing research in cardiopulmonary and renal physiology. Later, I practiced as an Internist in Illinois and Wisconsin. When I returned to Canada in 1992, I practiced psychology as a Family Doctor, a kinda Holistic Health Idea. I developed a large proctice in Welland and the surrounding area which is in desparate need of psychiatrists. I still have licenses in Illinois and Wisconsin. It would just be a matter of paperwork to get my license in NY,
Inasmuch as I have a seasonal mood problem and a shyness problem that I've overcome for the most part I do recognize that I sometimes sound better and more relaxed than at other times. I felt I was at least as good as Dr. Phil and sometimes as good as Fraser Crane, and just as dysfunctional, having had 2 divorces and various other of life's setbacks. Maybe you can tell me what you think of the idea of a call in Nighttime Psychologist Show when we speak. Maybe it's just a fantasy of mine, but it's something I've thought of for years. it would have a background of Mozart music which is as relaxing as tranquilizers, as you know, and just as stimulating for the IQ as crossword puzzles. I could also through in some award winning poetry, like limericks and sonnets to prove a point or make a joke. Whaddya Think?
In any case, I would love to do an interview for you,.for the station, and for BY REQUEST. With some guidance, I think I could also make it humourous...
Just let me know when to be available for the call. All the best. Later. Izzy

Hey Izzy,You have probably heard some of the “listener testimonials” I have put together for use during this fund drive. I would like to have you say some nice things about Classics by Request, the station and the importance of being as member…..then to tell everyone what your request is. We can set up time to speak over the phone and I will record your comments and edit them for Saturday night. Let me know.Jim Berryman KC2SIAWNED-FM(716) 845-7000 ext. 372
Cogito. Ergo, sum!
Je pense. Donc, je suis!
I think. Therefore, I am!
Ich denk. Also, ich bin!
I didn't think. Therefore, I wasn't. ;-(
